The Stated Chrome Extension: Turn ChatGPT, Claude and Any Web Page into Something You Can Share
What the Stated Chrome extension does, when to use it with ChatGPT or Claude, and how it turns a useful web page into a shareable report or PDF.

Your browser is where useful work gets stuck
A great ChatGPT or Claude answer, a web page full of research, and a PDF can all be valuable. The problem starts when you need to send that work to someone else.
The Stated Chrome extension is the bridge from browser context to a finished publication. It helps you create a Page, Document, or Experience from ChatGPT, Claude, or a normal website—then share one link instead of forwarding a chat or attachment.
What it does in ChatGPT and Claude
When your Stated connection is available, Create with Stated appears beside the native composer. Choose the format that matches the reader:
| Format | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Page | Shareable report, proposal, comparison, or landing page |
| Document | An editable document or downloadable report |
| Experience | A more visual, full-screen presentation |
The extension inserts an editable prompt into the chat composer. You review it and send it yourself. ChatGPT or Claude develops the content; Stated turns it into the surface people can read and act on.
Prompt
Turn this conversation into a shareable Stated Page for [audience]. Keep the central recommendation, explain the evidence clearly, and add one next action: a poll, a question, or a contact request. Write for someone who has not read this chat.
What it does on normal websites
On a normal web page, the extension keeps a simpler action: Create report link. Use it when an article, research page, or resource needs to become a concise, shareable briefing.
This is useful for a market-research link, an industry update, a client reference, or a long page that colleagues do not have time to read in full. Stated can turn the context into a structured publication with the source idea, an explanation, and a place for feedback.
When a PDF is the right output
A PDF is still useful when a reader needs a fixed copy, printing, or an attachment. The extension retains Create PDF as a secondary action where appropriate.
But a PDF should not be the only version when you expect questions, approvals, or leads. Publish the interactive version first; export a PDF when the reader needs one.
Why this is better than forwarding the chat
A shared chat transcript makes the reader reconstruct the context. A Stated publication gives them a title, structure, evidence, and a defined next action.
Use the extension when the goal is not merely to save something, but to move it forward: send a proposal, collect a decision, share research, or follow up after a meeting.
