ChatGPT and Claude

Connect Stated to ChatGPT or Claude so an AI conversation can create, update and share a Stated publication without manual copy-and-paste.

· 1 min read

Connect Stated to ChatGPT or Claude when the useful work already begins in a conversation.

The connection lets the AI create and update Stated Documents, Pages and Experiences, then return a publication link you can open, review and share. Stated remains the place where the finished work lives; ChatGPT or Claude remains the place where you think, research and write.

Before you begin

You need a Stated account and access to the relevant ChatGPT or Claude connection flow. Sign in with the Stated account that should own the publications.

Create from a conversation

Once connected, state the outcome rather than asking for a generic export.

For example:

Prompt

Turn the useful work in this conversation into a Stated Page for [AUDIENCE]. Lead with the conclusion, preserve key evidence and caveats, and add one interaction only if it helps the reader make a decision. Make it ready to share.

Open ChatGPT · Open Claude

The AI can create the publication and return its link. Open it in Stated to check the content, visibility and design before sending it to anyone.

Update an existing publication

Use the same publication when the work continues. Tell the AI which page, document or Experience should be updated, and describe the change you want.

Keeping one publication means the link, analytics and reader responses remain attached to the same piece of work.

Choose the right request

Ask for a Document when you need continuous writing. Ask for a Page when you need a structured web report, interaction or results. Ask for an Experience when the result should feel like a fullscreen site or presentation.

Important review step

AI can prepare and update the work, but you remain responsible for checking facts, access settings, sensitive content and the final recipient. Creating a publication does not send it automatically.
