Stated vs Gamma vs Lovable vs Notion: Where Should AI Work Go?

Gamma, Lovable, Notion and Stated are not interchangeable AI tools. Compare them by the job the AI-generated output needs to do next.

AI can draft a report, generate a deck, scaffold an app or update a workspace page. The hard part is often not generation. It is deciding where the result should live once another human needs to use it.

Gamma, Lovable, Notion and Stated answer that question differently. Treating them as interchangeable “AI content tools” creates awkward workflows and unnecessary rebuilds.

Choose Gamma for a designed narrative

Gamma is built around card-based presentations, documents and webpages. Its current developer platform supports generating Gammas, using templates, exporting and reading engagement analytics.

Choose Gamma when the audience should move through a designed story: a pitch, workshop, strategy deck or polished visual explainer.

Choose Lovable for working software

Lovable generates and deploys full-stack web applications from natural-language instructions. Its output can include application code, frontend, backend, database, authentication and integrations.

Choose Lovable when the audience needs to use a product: a portal, interactive calculator, internal tool, marketplace, dashboard or customer-facing application.

Choose Notion for shared knowledge

Notion is a workspace for pages, databases and team processes. Its connection model is built around explicit access to workspace content and operational collaboration.

Choose Notion when the work must become part of a team’s operating system: plans, meeting notes, project databases, documentation and ongoing knowledge.

The main unit is the workspace record.

Choose Stated for publish, share and results

Stated is for the moment AI work must become a human-facing outcome outside the conversation.

A Stated Document, Page or Experience can be shared as a stable destination. A Page can include forms, polls, questions, uploads, downloads and voice conversations, then keep those responses attached to the same publication.

Choose Stated when the main unit is the deliverable: a report a client must review, an analysis a team must decide on, a proposal that needs feedback or a living update people return to.

The main unit is the interactive, shareable artifact.

The useful question is not always “Which one wins?”

A workflow might use Notion for source knowledge, ChatGPT or Claude for analysis, Gamma for an executive deck, Lovable for a customer-facing tool and Stated for the report that collects stakeholder decisions.
