How to Add an ElevenLabs Voice Agent to a Webpage
Learn how to add an ElevenLabs-powered Voice Agent to a webpage with Stated, without building the voice interface and publishing flow from scratch.

Adding an AI voice agent to a webpage usually means connecting a voice provider, building the interface, handling microphone permissions, giving the agent the right context, and deciding what to do with the conversation data. Stated brings those pieces together in a publishable page or experience.
The problem
You want visitors to talk to an AI agent directly from a webpage, but you do not want to build the voice UI, publishing layer, visitor flow, and response collection from scratch.
With Stated, you can add a Voice Agent to a Page or Experience and use ElevenLabs for the voice conversation layer.
How it works in Stated
- Create or open a Stated Page or Experience.
- Add a Voice Agent block or configure the Voice Agent action for the experience.
- Choose what the agent should do: answer questions about the publication, interview the visitor, or collect feedback.
- Configure the greeting, instructions, questions, language, voice, and conversation duration.
- Publish and share the Stated URL.
- Visitors can start the conversation from the webpage. Their responses can be captured in Stated and reviewed with the publication's other results.
The agent can use the readable content of the publication as context, so the voice interaction can be connected to the report, page, research, proposal, or other content the visitor is viewing.
A prompt you can use from ChatGPT or Claude
If Stated is connected to your AI assistant, try a request like:
Create a Stated Page for customer feedback. Add a Voice Agent powered by ElevenLabs that interviews visitors about their experience, asks five concise questions, and saves the responses for review.
You can then continue editing the publication conversationally instead of rebuilding the voice experience manually.
When this is useful
An embedded voice conversation can be useful for customer interviews, qualitative feedback, research, lead qualification, interactive reports, event follow-up, candidate screening, and any page where speaking is easier than completing a long form.
Voice Agents and ElevenLabs in Stated
For the product-specific setup and available controls, see the related Stated documentation for Voice Agents and the ElevenLabs integration. These guides explain how the feature behaves inside Stated rather than requiring you to assemble the underlying voice stack yourself.
Try it in Stated
Connect Stated to ChatGPT or Claude and describe the page and voice interaction you want to create. Stated can turn the request into a publishable experience that you can share with visitors and use to collect results.
