Turn a Web Page into a Report
Use a known public URL as source material for a Stated Page, then review, share and refresh the resulting report when appropriate.

Use this workflow when the source you need already lives on a public webpage: an article, announcement, product page, public report or documentation page.
Stated can fetch the source and turn it into a structured Page. The Page is the reader-facing result; the URL is the source material.
Before you begin
Use a URL you are allowed to access and reuse. Check that it is public and that it contains the information you expect.
This workflow works best with one known source. If your question needs multiple sources, comparison or citation-backed research, use a broader research workflow instead.
Create the report
- Start a new Stated Page.
- Provide the public URL.
- Explain the result you want: summary, client brief, analysis, comparison or action plan.
- Review the generated Page before sharing it.
- Add an interaction only if the reader needs to make a decision or provide input.
For example:
Turn this public announcement into a concise internal briefing. Lead with what changed, identify the practical implications for our team, and end with the one decision we need to make.
Review source-derived content
A fetched page gives you a useful first draft, not automatic truth. Check facts, dates, source permissions and the difference between what the source says and your own interpretation.
Do not publish sensitive or copyrighted source material simply because it was publicly accessible. Write for the intended reader and retain only the content needed for the new report.
Refresh a source-backed Page
If the original URL changes over time, you can refresh the corresponding source-backed content instead of rebuilding the whole Page. Use refreshes deliberately: an automatic refresh should support a real ongoing need and use the account’s available credits.
Keep stable editorial sections stable. Update only the source-derived material that has actually changed.
