Create from a Prompt, File or URL
Choose the right Stated creation input: a prompt for an idea, a file for existing material or a URL for a known public source.

Stated supports different ways to start. Choose the input that gives the system the most useful source material for the outcome you want.
Start from a prompt
Use a prompt when you have a clear idea but no source file.
Describe:
- the outcome you want
- the intended reader
- the important facts or constraints
- the action the reader should take, if any
For example:
Create a concise project update for our client. Explain what changed, what is blocked and what we need them to approve this week.
A prompt is best for a new report, brief, proposal, landing page or Experience.
Start from a file
Use a file when the important information already exists in a PDF, document, spreadsheet, image or data file.
Upload the source, then explain what should be made from it. A spreadsheet may become a summary Page with charts. A PDF can become a reader-friendly report. An image can become the starting point for a visual Experience.
Always review the output. Source extraction can make a strong first draft, but it does not replace checking sensitive data, factual accuracy, permissions or formatting.
Start from a URL
Use a URL when the information lives on a known public webpage. Stated can fetch and structure that source into a Page.
This is useful for turning an article, public announcement, landing page or documentation page into a report. If the information changes over time, use a source-backed workflow only when you intend to refresh it.

Pick the output format after the source
The source does not decide the format. Choose a Document, Page or Experience based on what the reader needs next.
