Stated Pages can be turned into a print-ready PDF report when you need a fixed file in addition to the live publication.
What the PDF contains
The PDF is generated from the Page's own content and design. Stated lays the material out for an A4 document rather than taking a screenshot of the web page.
Supported report content can include headings, written sections, images, tables, timelines, FAQs, key-value information and charts rendered for the document format.
What happens to interactive blocks?
Interactive elements such as polls, quizzes, forms, ratings, bookings, mini apps and embeds cannot function inside a static PDF. They are therefore not reproduced as working interactions in the file. Readers can return to the live Page when they need the interactive version.
Generate the PDF
Open the Page's download flow or request a PDF from Stated through a connected AI workflow. Stated generates the current report and returns a downloadable file.
If the Page has not changed since the most recent render, Stated can reuse the current generated PDF. If the content changes, generate a new version so the file reflects the latest Page.
Live Page and PDF can coexist
Downloading a PDF does not replace the Page. The live Stated publication remains available for sharing, interactions and updates, while the PDF provides a fixed copy for email, archives, printing or offline reading.
Use the live Page as the canonical interactive version and the PDF when a recipient specifically needs a file.
