Responses and Analytics
Understand how Stated tracks publication views, interactions and reader responses across interactive content.
· 1 min read
Stated separates views from responses so you can see both reach and action on a publication.
Views
Views show how often a Page or Experience was opened. Unique viewers help distinguish repeated visits from separate people when that signal is available.
Views answer: “Did people reach this publication?”
Responses
Responses are the actions a visitor takes inside the publication. Depending on the blocks you use, Stated can record:
- poll votes and selected options;
- quiz completions and scores;
- ratings;
- form and contact-form submissions;
- questions, replies and feedback;
- file uploads;
- download events;
- Voice Agent conversations and transcripts.
Responses answer: “What did people do or tell us?”
Review results
Open the publication's Results or Responses area to review data by block. You can see the most recent interactions and, when identity was collected, the visitor name or email associated with that response.
Use the details rather than relying only on a top-level count. Ten responses to a proposal may represent ten approvals, ten questions or ten different requests for changes.
Export and follow up
Export response data when it needs to move into another workflow. For example, a client-feedback Page can feed a follow-up task, while a research survey can be analysed outside Stated.
Design for a decision
Analytics are more useful when the Page asks for a meaningful next action. Add a poll to choose between options, a form to collect a brief, a question box for qualitative feedback or a Voice Agent for deeper interviews.
See Pages to add interactive blocks and Voice Agents for spoken responses.
